Okay okay okay… YOU GUYS!!! I have THE BEST story to tell you, and it’s like, full of feels, sparkles, fire (the good kind), AND tie-dye!!! So sit down. Or jump up. Or spin in a circle with your arms out like a weirdo because THIS. IS. BIG.
THE HEART THING (but not like lovey-dovey)
So, five months ago… something SUPER serious happened. I had to have open heart surgery. Yep. The real kind. The kind where they fix the thing inside your chest that keeps you alive. (I KNOW RIGHT?! ) It was scary, and long, and honestly, it felt like I got hit by a dragon made of trucks. But guess what?
I’m still here. And healing like an absolute CHAMP.
It’s been slow… and a little boring sometimes… like, I couldn’t even make glass while recovering and THAT hurt worse than anything (okay, not worse than surgery, but you get it). I’ve missed the fire. The glow. The drip. The art. The whooooosh of the torch.
Glass is like… part of my soul. And it’s been tough being away. But now…
THE COMEBACK IS HAPPENING
I’m finally getting strong enough to go back to it. Bit by bit. Day by day. I’ll be easing back in over the next couple months like a wizard returning to their wand. Or like Batman when he’s healed up and ready to BUST OUT of the cave!
Y’all better watch out—because METZ GLASS DESIGNS is about to light that torch again!!!
